What you work on first.
Beginner coaching starts with a workable setup, a comfortable grip and a balanced swing. The first goal is useful contact rather than maximum distance. Coach Edmund assesses where you are starting, chooses a simple drill and checks whether you can repeat it before adding another task.
Make practice easier to understand.
A simulator gives you a target and shot information to compare from one attempt to the next. You can work on contact, start direction and carry distance in a controlled setting. Your coach helps you interpret the results and choose one focus, so practice has a purpose beyond hitting a bucket of balls.
Learn on your own or alongside another beginner.
A private lesson gives you an hour of individual coaching. A matched duo lets two golfers share the session. You do not need to bring a partner; the coach checks compatibility before confirming a pairing. If a suitable partner is unavailable, an alternative duo time may be offered. A private upgrade requires your agreement.
How long does it take to learn golf?
Progress depends on your starting point, practice and the skill you are learning. Inside Out does not promise a set number of lessons. Your report card records specific assessments so you and your coach can decide the next step. Passing an indoor skill test is separate from playing a full round outdoors.

Can a complete beginner join?
Yes. Choose a first assessment when requesting your lesson and tell Coach Edmund that you are new to golf. The training focus is set from your starting level.
Should I choose private or duo?
Choose private if you prefer individual attention for the whole session. Choose duo if you enjoy learning with another golfer. The coach checks that the pairing is suitable.
Where are beginner lessons held?
At Friends Golf, 6 Eu Tong Sen St, #04-57 Clarke Quay Central, Singapore 059817. Simulator bay rental is included.
Does this programme issue a proficiency certificate or handicap?
The Inside Out report card records academy skill assessments. It is not a proficiency certificate or an official handicap. Discuss your course-access goals with Coach Edmund before booking.
